I dunno, now that I'm on XP though I can tell you this card is running games very amazingly.

The 8800 is no doubt an excellent video card, I'm not going to lie. However, I'm also not going to lie about the 4870 in that it easily out performs the 8800. And while cards like the gtx280 are a bit more powerful than the 4870, they also cost from around 150-200 dollars more, possibly even more than that. For price and performance, ATI's 4000 series is excellent.

I'm still going with NVIDIA, they haven't let me down before unlike ATI's comparison to NVIDIA's 7 series.

Decided to enter the realm of Nvidia after being an ATI person for a good while. Card screwed up within a couple of weeks and the software provided is nowhere as good as Hyrdavision.
